The art of combing. You have bought or been given a beautiful fur. You'd like to spin it, but how do you turn it into fur wool? Fur wool is a long, thin strand of combed wool that is easy to spin. But how do you comb wool? Which combs do you need? How do you mix colours and fibres? In this workshop, you will learn how to comb wool by hand or from a carding mill. You will also learn how to combine different types of fibres and colours to make unique wool. You will also learn how to experience the difference between carding and combing and how this affects spinning.
